The success of SHI’s AI initiative is largely due to our investment in people.

For every dollar we’ve allocated to technology, we’ve dedicated half to enabling and strengthening our culture and community. Educated individuals are more likely to engage in the innovation process and embrace your AI investments and tools.

This is a continuous process. Engage with employees to identify new use cases. Educate them to adopt the technology. Build more powerful tools to deliver against changing priorities.

By doing this, you’ll establish the foundation of technology, people, and processes you'll need to thrive in the modern AI-driven economy.

Educate

Clearly communicate your goals and responsible AI policies. Employees need to understand what AI is, its potential impact and harm, and how it will help them achieve their goals.
Invest in training programs that drive AI literacy and ensure safe and effective AI use.

Empower

Establish an AI community in every business unit and encourage best practice sharing and openness.
Establish clear lines of communication for continuous feedback and brainstorming.
Proactively address AI anxiety by reminding users AI is being used to empower them, not replace them.

Adopt

Assess your organization’s AI readiness and adoption willingness via the META AI Literacy Scale.
Develop and communicate a clear AI adoption roadmap. Define goals, use cases, and success metrics.
Incentivize the use of AI to overcome adoption barriers.
Keep up with AI advancements. Embrace continual learning and innovation to stay competitive.
