Fostering Inclusive Communication

Amplifying the individual experiences of our workforce.

SHI embraces the contributions of all diverse groups to our company throughout the year. Examples include Black History Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Pride, Hispanic Heritage, and others. We do so through webinars, panels, events, and interviews with SHI employees — focusing on providing a voice where one may have not existed previously and highlighting SHI’s overall community achievements.

Providing a direct channel of communication to our employees from the top down, as well as a platform to share their own workplace experiences, is integral in nurturing an environment built on equity and mutual respect across SHI’s landscape. Our hope is that by discussing these sensitive, personal, yet vital topics, our collective workforce strives towards creating and maintaining an inclusive environment, especially for employees from historically marginalized backgrounds.
