Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

SHI commits to working alongside historically marginalized communities and amplifying the voices of those who have been unheard for far too long. Our goal is to closely align our overall CSR and DEI initiatives so employees have multiple avenues for participating in community service activities, fundraising, charitable donations, and more.

Fundraising and community service with Rutgers University

Best Friends Animal Society — virtually building toys for homeless pets across the U.S.

SHI Charity Tournament — presented by the American Heart Association and UGC Events (esports).

Earth Day — demonstrating support for environmental protection.

LN-4 Hand Project — building free prosthetic hands to anyone in need globally.

Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes U.K. — participating in fundraisers and charity walks for specialist care and holistic family support.

The Central Texas Food Bank — SHI-Austin employees participate in volunteer shifts and fundraising for Austin’s most vulnerable populations.

The Texas Conference for Women Sponsorship — providing connections, motivation, networking, inspiration, and skill-building for thousands of Texas women each year.

SHI community gardens — blooming in both Somerset and Austin, and providing an opportunity for improved nutrition, mental wellness, physical activity, social engagement, as well as local community work.
